The England Cricket Board informed Bashir about getting the visa. The board said, “Bashir has now received his visa, and he is scheduled to travel to India later this week to join the team.” It was further written, “We are happy that this issue has now been resolved.”

Will not be able to play the first test

Due to delay in visa, Bashir will not be able to play the first Test against India in Hyderabad. The England team had landed in Hyderabad last Sunday (January 21), but Bashir was forced to return to England due to not getting a visa. But now their issue has been resolved.

Five test matches will start from January 25

A total of five-match Test series will be played between India and England, which will start from January 25. The first test will be played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. After this, the second Test to be played in Visakhapatnam will start from 02 February. After this, the third match of the series will be played in Rajkot from 15 February, the fourth in Ranchi from 23 February and the fifth in Dharamshala from 7 March.

Shoaib Bashir has played 6 first class matches so far. Apart from this, he has played 6 List-A and 5 T20 International matches. He has taken 10 wickets in 10 innings of First Class, 3 wickets in 7 innings of List-A and 4 wickets in 4 innings of T20.
